There were protests outside cinema halls all around India for not screening this movie. Even under such circumstances Dilwale managed to mint Rs. 21 cr on its opening day. Which was far ahead of Bajirao Mastani which released on same day and collected Rs. 12.8 cr. Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starer Dilwale box office collection so far is recorded to be Rs. 123.88 cr.

Blockbuster combination Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya came together with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo this year. And the magic at Silver screens and Box office was surely expected. This movie hit screens on 12th November 2015 and collected highest opening day collection of 2015 of Rs. 40.35 cr. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's gross collection so far is Rs. 210.16 and the number definitely deserves to be on top of the charts.
No.1 - Bajrangi Bhaijaan (All time Blockbuster)

- Rs. 320.34 cr - Lifetime collection
2015 became Salman Khan vs Salman Khan. We already saw above that PRDP which became highest opening day collection film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan settled at second highest opening day film. Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs. 27.25 cr, but at the same time it broke all the records and became "All time Blockbuster" by minting Rs. 320.34 cr.
Salman Khan's own film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which is still running at theaters and standing 2nd on this list is racing towards Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Its Win-Win situation for Salman Khan this year to become the most Promising star who gave back to back hit films which grossed more then Rs. 200 cr.
