From midnight of 10th Dec the device is made available to buy through the e-commerce site Snapdeal at price Rs 2,999. The device was sold for $35 in US (Rs 2,165 approx).
Chromecast was launched by Google officially on 24th July 2013 in the US market. Currently it supports YouTube and Google Play Movies and also partnered with Eros Now, Spuul and YppTV.
