This post is a real joy to write and share with you all. Yes, presenting to you the "Actor of the year", the invincible Rajkumar Rao. The year 2017 was undoubtedly for this amazingly talented boy from Gurgaon.

His journey in the industry is no more or less a filmy script of a typical Bollywood film. Who knew or guessed it that a character of a News Reporter in the film Rann and the guy Adarsh from the film Love Sex aur Dhokha has hidden inside himself a whole world of cinema which the Bollywood industry was yet to taste and had no clue about.
Rajkummar Rao who does not belong to any of the filmy backgrounds neither was the actor supported by an angle from the business, he just went on with a taste of his own and silently climbed a peak on which many of the so-called Top stars of industry can not even think about till date.
The year 2017 especially was totally a year of Rajkummar Rao. The biggest surprise was when a poster was released by the team of movie "Raabta" in which Rajkummar played "Muwaqqit" as the 324 year old man ruler of Muraaki.
"Bareilly Ki Barfi" came with yet another surprise where we all saw him in relaxed and typical Bollywoodish role, dancing to the tunes of "Sweety Tera Drama" which released in July this year and still trending on all the Music channels and streaming sites. "Behen Hogi Teri", "Shaadi mein Zaroor Aana" were two more movies which showcased different shade of his.
The roller coaster ride of Rajkummar Rao filmography did not stop there, actual thrill came in the name of Newton Kumar and Shaurya from his latest movies named "Newton" and "Trapped". Rao proved himself yet again and showed he is in his own race with himself. These films proved not only his ability to carry a character based script but also made whole industry applause and say even we have great films like these with us.
India's Official entry to 90th Academy Awards

Rajkummar who won his "National Film Award as Best Actor" for his 2014 release "Shahid". His choice of roles and the mettle with which he delivers the roles he is portraying, have bagged him many awards this years also.
Recently he won "Best Actor (Special Mention)" at "Indian Film Festival of Melbourne" for his amazing performance in 2017 release film "Trapped". Also, won several awards for his movie "Newton" which also released this year.
